Mădălin Mihailovici, CEO Veolia Romania
With 25 years of extensive experience in leadership, management, as well as development, planning, and budget forecasting in both the private and public sectors, Mădălin Mihailovici joined Veolia Romania in 2008 and took over the company’s leadership as CEO in April 2017.
With a Ph.D. in technical sciences and engineering, specializing in hydro-technical engineering, he is a graduate of NATO’s courses “Defence from Floods and Floodplain Management” and „The International School of Water Resources Management”. He combines his professional and academic careers, by being part of the Faculty of Hydrotechnics at the Technical University of Construction in Bucharest.
Mădălin Mihailovici was decorated, by Presidential decree, with agricultural merit in the rank of Grand Officer for all the work done to ensure and maintain the ecological balance.
He published 4 specialty books, more than 45 advanced studies and projects in the field of hydro-technical engineering as a project leader or collaborator, more than 50 impact studies and environmental assessments as a project leader or collaborator, having participated in more than 20 international symposiums and conferences. Furthermore, he authored over 40 technical articles and scientific papers, published in specialized publications in Romania and abroad.
The professional performance of Mădălin Mihailovici’s management has been recognized on numerous occasions, receiving many local and international awards for his work.
