Razvan Buzatu is expert in state-building and nation-building.
He worked in 70 states in the past 21 years, in the public, private and associative sectors. International organizations like OSCE PA, Council of Europe PA, United Nations Development Program, European Parliament and NATO. For 11 years he combined working in leadership positions in the private sector with international missions, such as NATO trainer for the Government of Afghanistan and Irak, international consultant for the United Nations Development Program for Moldova and in the past five years he held the position of Chair of the Research Task Group on Strategic Awareness of Energy Security within the NATO Science and Technology Organization.
He received a Medal of Appreciation from the President of the United States of America in 2008 and a Medal of Excellence from the NATO School in 2013. He is alumnus of Harvard Kennedy School for Government and Georgetown University. From February 2021 he is Strategic Development Leader for 18 countries in the US corporation SAS and he was recommended to start teaching at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis.
